430 stainless steel is a general steel type with good corrosion resistance. 430 stainless steel contains a high chromium content. Chromium can chemically react with oxygen in the air, forming a dense layer of chromium oxide (Cr2O3) on the surface, preventing further oxidation reactions. The formed chromium oxide layer has high stability and is not easily destroyed, effectively resisting the erosion of oxygen, water, and other oxidizing agents. 430 stainless steel can effectively resist oxidation corrosion and surface rusting.
