436 4x8 stainless steel coil refers to a sheet of stainless steel, grade 436, typically measuring 4 feet by 8 feet, rolled into a coil shape. Grade 436 stainless steel is a modified version of 430, with added columbium and molybdenum, which helps reduce issues like "roping" or "wavy lines" during forming. It also offers improved corrosion resistance and weldability compared to 430.
436 stainless steel reduces carbon, nitrogen and other impure substances, and adds molybdenum, titanium and other elements, with excellent corrosion resistance and formability. It has more endurance to stress corrosion in harsh corrosive environments such as coastal atmospheric decoration and pool.
